Your college career begins now

We’re excited to welcome you to your new academic home at the School of Molecular Sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences of Arizona State University!

Our number one priority is your success so we hope you'll join us for our free, nine-day immersion program. You’ll join fellow chemistry and biochemistry majors as you embark on a journey to becoming a scientist. From exploring more about your major of choice to meeting your life long friends, this program is a once in a lifetime opportunity that can help shape the rest of your collegiate career.

Your Early Start Sun Devil experience 2026

• Program Dates: Wednesday, August 5 through Saturday, August 15
  • There will be no programming on Sunday, August 9 and Thursday, August 13
• Lunch and dinner will be provided

Develop new strategies for academic success:

• Connect with professors and peer mentors
• Learn what to expect from college coursework
• Explore campus and get familiar with university resources

Thousands of ASU students have benefited from programs like this one. Don't miss your chance to learn about the value of communication skills and how to apply them in many contexts. A limited number of spots are available.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Early Start program. This year's program will run from Wednesday, August 5 through Saturday, August 15. Students will not be required to meet on Sunday, August 9 and Thursday, August 13.
